quwstions about 88 crx

I just bought an 88 crx, and im pretty sure it has a mini-me swap. it has a D16A6 block and i think it has the D16Z6 head, but im not sure. can anybody tell me the difference?

look for the vtec solinoid on the back left of the head

Are the spark plug wires closer to the Intake side of the head or the exhaust?

the spark plugs are closer to the intake side
and whats the selinoid look like
