your slick should be chosen based on your power/gearing not ride height. I would recommend buying coil overs.

Wheels have a part to do with it also.
You can have a lowered car on stock 15" wheels with 22x8x15 slicks mounted on them.
As for the 13x7.5-8 inchers, good luck if you don't have coilovers.

why are coilovers inportaint with 13"wheels? are they importaint so you can raise the car back up? i have a del sol, which seems to sit higher than most hondas (i dont know that for a fact, the wheel/fender gap just looks like more). how much could i lower it with 24" slicks? ive just heard about the wheels rubbing when braking becasue of the weight shift. and will there be problems with turning. i have 195/50/15 on there not and theres a hugh fender wheel gap

With stock springs, the suspension bounces and the tires hit the fenders going down the track when shifting.
Coilovers have a higher spring rate which keeps the wheel travel at a minimum. You can lift the car pretty high on coilovers(depends on the brand) so that you'll be able to turn your wheels without the tires hitting the bumper.
When you're done at the track, you can just crank the coilovers back down to street height.
We're using 24.5x8x13s on 13x8 wheels.

what brand of coilovers do you reccomend, ive heard good things about ground control on ht, but they seam kinda expensive. what about shocks, is it neccesary to get adjutible ones? how much do people typically adjust them?

Anyone have pics of 4th gens on 24-25" slicks?

I got my 24.5/8.5/MH the other day, but my car doesn't have suspension installed at the moment. I'm just wondering what it looks like, and if I'm going to need to raise her up.

do sportlines bounce around at all during shifting/braking and scrape the slicks. im asking because sportlines arent too far from the spring rate

I wouldn't move the car if your car is that low. Not to mention your slicks are on the inside edge and your axles are at extreme angles. Not a good idea.

His suspension is not set that low. It's the combination of smaller tire and a taller motor (h22). Almost all h22 hybrids have shitty axle angles......

I'm running the same slick/setup though. I know the H-series sets lower but the car still can be raised quite a bit.

I run the same slick also @ 9psi and I raise my car almost all the way, however the axle angle goes to ****. I have atleast 5-6 inches between the slick and my fender.

Those are 13x8 wheels on 24.5x8x13 Mickeys. It was raised up a little too high that night.

whats a reasonable price to pay for 24.5/8.5/MH w/ rims or a similar set up?
is it true that if you go faster then 11.99 you need a roll bar?

what is a common set up for rear height, i would imiagie as high as possible?
if you have adjustible shocks could you get away with your car being a little lower because you could stiffen them up and they would control and movment in shifting or braking?
