Default v-tec or turbo??

i got a 96 integra ls. im wondering what would be my best way to go here. bolt up a v-tec head or say **** it and go turbo?? what about both? i heard ppl blow alot of ls motors with v-tec heads AND turbos? any help? want to make this turtle fast soon!

neither. build LS. like vtec, but costs less.

^^^eew. my vote goes for turbo. MUCH MORE POWER FOR SAME AMOUNT OF GREEN.

definately turbo....youd wipe the floor with any b18c swap [granted its bone stock]

Turbo for sure, who would want variable valve timing when you can get a turbo?? hahah

But if you got the funds Ls/vtec turbo will get you some serious power.

i went from a 94 RS with a B18B with 195k miles to a 98 Turbo GSR with 16k miles.

Turbo + VTEC =

but really, if you're going turbo, spend the extra money you'd spend on vtec and build the block and head and push more boost. vtec may not even add any horsepower at all. it might add a few, but if you tune the engine (YOU'D BETTER! or you'll blow the motor up!), it probably won't. cams are too long for turbo applications.
