Hey Guys I am looking to get a body Kit. What is the best type of material to buy and why? Urthene or Fiberglass? Where is the best place to purchase one?
Here is the set up I want
Front Bumper : Acura Integra 94-97 Street Fighter I (one (1), NOT 2 (II))

Are C-wing Carbon fiber hoods any good? If not what brand should I look for

urethane is the best because it "flexes", fiberglass on the other hand does not flex and will have the tendency to crack when u hit a bump or did. c wings? u mean cwest?

 

I think hands down everone recommends Fiber Image CF Hoods. But there are a few names given by various people. I looked into a place called import Trenz they are selling the hoods for cheap. I am not sure of the quality or brand. Check it out let me know what ya think

This is true however most people dont' realize that when teh urethane bumpers flex, the paint cracks!! Most body shops a flex gel additive in there paint but it only goes into the clear coat. So, when you hit something or bend the bumper the primer and paint will crack and spider web but it won't flake off because the clear coat should still hold it together. On another note, some fiberglass kits are really really crappy!! They take insance amounts of prep time to get all the waves and stress cracks out of the material.

 

I can't find a decent looking body kit for my car in Urethene. My only choice is Fiberglass

did u try the wings west type W kit? in urethane..one of the cleanest out there.

 

Dislike it I rather stay stock than by that. Its not much different than stock

Go OEM kit, or get any other kit that is made out of urethane. If you get a fiberglass kit, you will want to kick your own @$$ after you hit a few things and you need to repaint the whole thing.

gsr98white,i cant even buy the rest of my kit right now, or put on my side skirts for that matter...when i win the lottery ill consider it.

 

If not OEM, go with Polyurethane... Fiberglass is crap.
