Default got in wreak, questions on replacing suspension, LCA, UCA, etc.... >>

ok i got in wreak, jumped 3 curbs at 110+

anyway..

i need to replace everything on my suspension..

i have a 2000 ex coupe.

im going with the omni power 12k /10k with rear LCA's setup..

im just going to do a rear disk conversion since the drums and everything are messed up..

what else on the rear suspension would i need to replace if doing the rear disk conversion.

also what needs replaced in the front. is it just UCA and LCA...

thanks for you help.

have you checked your sub frames also? That speed into curbs will prob damage more then ur suspension.

according to the body shop it is fine..

im having them replace the rear corner panel cause i hit a tree.

they wanted like 6k to fix the suspension, 1 front fender, and the corner panel, and paint.

i told them to fix the corner panel for 1300, and i would do the rest of th work..

but besides that im good to go..

Jesus 110+?? What are curbs doing on a track?

Id be more concerned about the subframe than just a rear disc conversion.
All the rear disc stuff has been posted...trailing arms, cables off a well matched car, hubs, and an em1 prop valve (thats it). You will probably be replacing the rear u/lca's anyway though (get ones for civic, not integra)

I can practically give you some front uca's off my 97 if you want them. Pay for shipping, a box, and theyre yours.

they said the way the one wheel disintegrated, that it looked more like 130

anyway i will take your front UCA if they will fit my 00. im replacing everything to be safe.

i know how to do the rear disk conversion. im just asking if i do that and replace the lower Lcas with the omni ones if that takes care of the whole rear suspension.

how can i check for subframe damage, even though the body shop said it was straight.

Just crawl under and look for cracks/bent ****. It'll be obvious for the most part.

Yeah, my uca's will fit. PM me your zip code, I'll estimate costs, and we'll go from there. Youre not far, so it wont take long for them to arrive (not like the car is going anywhere anytime soon).

If youre replacing the rear lca's with omnis, you'll also need to (probably) replace the rear uca's with something too. (Those I dont have anymore). I recommend checking out SPC for that or perhaps omni has something for that too (dont know)

Where the hell were you going 100+??

In the front you've got:

UCA
LCA
Knuckle
Tie-rods
Sub-frame

Glad to hear you're alright.

The knuckle is the piece that connects between the UCA and LCA and has the axle going through it. The brake caliper and rotor are also mounted to this.

The tie-rod is the piece that connects the steering rack to the knuckle.
