Kinda takes 2 people. One to hold the lip in place the other to drill.
While the one guy holds the lip the other drills about 6+ holes thru the lip into the bottom of the bumper. You kinda have to flex the lip a tad. Then i also put to bolts on the ends...
Its hard for me to explain, and the fact that i did it a year and a half ago doesnt help...
If you want PM me and i can try to get some pics of the lip on the bumper cover, up close. My car is all torn apart right now so it wouldnt be hard.
There is a small gap on mine, we are talking a mm or 2. that was caused by my dumb *** driving over the lip before i installed it.

it definately fits. the key is getting self-drilling screws (aka self tapping screws) from home depot. It will also be a lot easier if you can take off the bumper.
once u have the bumper off, line up the middle of the lip to the middle of the bumper, drill one screw in the middle to keep the lip tight. then move along the sides, use one hand to stretch the lip and the other to drill the screws. there will be a small lip underneath the lip about halfway from the middle, use a screw there so there will not be a gap where the lip curves around the bumper. then when you get to the end where the lip wraps around the bumper, use one more screw there.
use as many screws as you need. i used a total of 8 screws for mine.
