I'm not 100% sure but from what I've heard, if you put 16" rims on the 05 it will rub on the brake calliper. Then again I'm not sure.

I was considering this as well. I'd like to hear more info. Less weight and shorter gearing.

^^^^^^^ Umm $$$ doesn't grow on trees. If there is a good difference in weigh savings just going to stock rims, then why not?

Brakes/calipers are the same. They will fit.

But why? the 05 wheels are like a million times better looking the the 02-04 wheels...i wouldn't do it if i were you.....and why did you buy an RSX and then complain about it being a wheel(your sig)? That's just stupid.

05 wheels = ~21lbs
02-04 wheels = ~16 lbs

Not to mention that weight is a lot further out on the wheel, greatly increasing the moment of inertia.

Well it is a WHALE but i like the car just its 3000 pounds wit me in it , they shouldve gave it at least 220, but hey too late......i want the 03 rims to race with betta accl. and a little lighter im not gonna get rid of the 17's just the tires are expensive to be racing with them.

If you're drag racing with the 17s on there, it will infact decrease your straight line performance. Go with the 16s and you'll notice your trap speeds increase.
