Default B18b1 Turbo - Not holding idle

We are having some issues with this setup:
**
b18b
T3 Turbo
Vortec FPR
Venom 450 injectors
Holley fuel pump
Eagle Rods
Endyn Pistons
ARP Head studs
Balanced Crank
**
The motor was running turbo a year ago, the rings started to burn (running 10 psi). so my friend decided to put the car down and rebuild. He had the motor honed and bored by .5mm. The head had a valve job and port n' polished. The motor was put back together to spec. In all the car was down for about 11 months.
The motor has all new bearings, seals, gaskets, water pump..even new headlights!! ;P
((long story on the car being down so long))
Today - We drained the fuel tank and put new fuel in. The car starts fine and no unusual sounds. ((metal on metal and such)) The motor will start up to 2K RPMs stay steady for about 3 seconds then drop down to 200RPMs and struggle then die. Motor will start right back up and do the same thing. Spark seems to be fine and fuel delivery seems fine too. We adjusted the idle control screw and replaced the IACV. Now we're aren't sure what the problem maybe.
Help please!
TIA--

i think you might be drowning the motor with all that fuel.

Does he have some type of a fuel computer. 450's are pretty big. Also check over all the vacuum lines.

No third party computer managing fuel. Only other computer device would be the GReddy black box. He does have a SAFC, but it is not hooked up. Should he hook up that device or put the stock injectors in? Anything that should be done with the FPR? We did adjust it but showed no change...
Thank you for your replies!!!!

you have tooo much fuel at idle. try using the afc to lean it out. usually anything 440 and up ur gonna need standalone.

check to see if your fuels lines are letting the fuel through. either that or see that the throttle cable is ok. My car did that too, gurgled then died. I had to get the cable replaced and the fuel lines opened up more.

I would have to agree. You are dumping too much fuel at idle. How many Psi of fuel are you dumping in there? If you rev the motor does it still die or its good?

You are probaly drowning the motor with too much fuel. The safc will still run overly rich at idle with the injectors that you have. You should put in the stock injectors so the motor won't run so rich and it'll give a chance for the rings to seat (you did say new motor right). After the rings seat, you should be ok with your venom injectors but make sure to get tuned.
