How do you guys remove the cruise control in the 5th gens. I have a 97 accord lx and tried doing a search but no threads on that. I just got it recently converted to a manual and the cruise control doesn't work so might as well take it out and make the bay look a lil better. Please let me know, any help is appreciated. Thanks....

lol... I know that, but what parts are there, where are they, what wires are involved. Basically, I want to remove every component of the cruise control system, but I need to know where they are all located
look under the hood. theres a box with a cable sticking out thats connected to tb. unbolt that cable and box. disconnect the wire harness thats with the box. i think theres a vac. line also, make sure u plug that. thats mostly what i did.

i'm not really sure why you would want to remove it if it was functional, because it isn't a parasitic device on your engine...but if it's not, then i suppose there is no use for it in the engine bay...
