car blowing out white/blue smoke
well i have a fresh ITR short block in my car now, the car start smoking like BBQ whenever I start up the car, I know its burning the oil, but do you ever have the same problem with you doing engine swap? and what will the problem you think?
it could be anything from the rings to your valve seals, not saying this is your case but sometimes it could be the most stupid things, did you get a leakdown done?
leakdown basically lets a mechanic tell where the air is leaking out possibly where the oil thats burning is coming from. and btw what do you refer to as "fresh" ?

you might be burning coolant (antifreeze) in your engine, IT may be the headgasket.
If the gsr head isn't warped (and you had it checked) then i would maybe look into the coolant level, if you see adrop in the level of coolant, but not oil, I would say to check or replace the ehadgasket and the head/block deck surfaecs.
