Default OK need help with spoon mirrors

OK so technicaly they are knock off but they do look really nice on the car. So here is the problem...

I had to stick the mirrors on but it seems I stuck the passenger side mirror so close to the inside and it is bumping a screw. It's stuck on with some heavy duty sticker and I can't get it off to reposition it. Any ideas how I can get the mirror out without breaking it?

heat up the adhesive maybe with a hair dryer and then find a prying tool to pry it on..be gentle tho...I would try that if i were in your situation

The "Real Deal" is made for right hand drive so it wouldn't possibly work for a left hand drive car. But thanks for your useless advice. Keep it real homey!!!

Anyways I hope the dryer works. If not I will have to order new mirrors. The drivers side is ok but I should put a shim in there because I have it adjusted all the way to one side. Someone taller wouldn't be able to use the mirrors.

HAHA dam bro it's a car not my life. My roots go back to Europe and the high plains of the US not a honda factory.

Anyways I'm glad you had so much helpful input. Glad to hear your $300 mirrors worked so much better then my $35 ebay mirrors. While I fix this minor problem today that could very well take me up to an hour to fix I will be kicking myself in the head wishing I spent the $300 on mirrors.

You can also bake the mirrors on the oven at 275 for 3minutes, should come right off.

This guy's a TOOL.

I would try the hairdryer trick. Heat up the glass with that so that it will loosen the adhesive a little bit. If that doesn't work, just try blowing the air behind the mirror so it's more directly hitting the adhesive.

Other than that, maybe put them in the oven? Not sure how the plastic would react to that, but it's worth a shot.

naw not yet. my car needs alot of work. It's pretty over the top right now. Gonna put it closer to stock. I want it to look more stock yet still seem somehow like a present day car.

I took out the amp and cd changer and put in new speakers today. Infinity reference. Installed a blaupunkt cd changer in the glovebox and I'm trying to get a nice headunit off ebay cheap to hook it to.

Took the duck bill off and put the stock peice back in. Now I got to sell off the body kit and fiberglass hood. No more spoilers or body kit stuff for me. Should be looking good by July. No hurry. Just little things right now.
