hello sirs.....

my father want to buy to himself a 96 usdm accord coupe AT and we have some questions about this model. the trim is 2.2i es.

it has leather intirior, electric seats,sunroof... ect... ect...

my q's are:
-what engine should be in this car ?
-are the hood/fenders/f.bumper of a 4dr good for a coupe?
-any elecrical problams in this specific model?

-Engine = F22B1 145hp and it is OBDII
-Sedan exterior pieces will fit exactly like coupes, except doors obviously. Just make sure to use 96 year pieces.
-Usually the electric passenger window is slow to go up, common problem.

it has more potential stock than the h22. the f22 is low compression so it can handle loads of boost. H22 needs to be rebuilt to handle as much.

search around the accord forum for some turbo f22 setups.

this engine runs on 8.8 compression.
and its a torqe monster - useualy higher then the HP on FI.

i have another qustion thw f22b1 is relable ? how many miles it can without open the engine ?

They are reliable as long as you stay on top of your regular maintenance. My 96 has got 180k an no major probs yet.
