accidentally put the wrong firing order and I tried starting it 2-3 times...then finally put the wires in the correct firing order and it started....just wondering if I just mess up the engine in some way...sorry in advance for the newbie question

 

no I highly doubt you messed anything up, it probably barley started or ran like crap

 

By Wrong Firing order do you mean you put the sprak plug wires in the wrong spots on the distributor or the head? If so no you did not mess you car up.
