90 Civic EX exhaust question
I just bought a 90 Civic EX and need to know if the exhaust for the CRX is the same or would it be shorter? I need to replace from the catback and aftermarket is so much cheaper than replacement from a autoparts store.
Aftermarket will work with moderate/extensive modifications. Be like me and go custom, it is so much easier for the Sedans if you're on a budget.
So you say go custom... As in? I was thinking about purchasing the Si exhaust and using what I can if I remember I believe it should be about 4-5 inches shorter but I'm not sure. What did you do exactly when you say you did custom.
Well, in my case I picked a Magnaflow High-Flow Cat off Ebay (their dealers there are cheaper then anywhere else), a nice resonator, enough stainless piping to build a 87 point rollcage out of (just kidding
) and the muffler of my choice. Instant fit, instant my design. Did that make any sense?

the sedan exhaust is about 12 inchs longer then the hatch i think. thats after the muffeler. a good shop could make one for pretty cheap. like $200 maybe?
