Default COMPILATION VID...

Just combined some old clips into 1, about 7 min and 15 sec long.

First is 53Mb in size and shown in 1Mb/sec 856x480 EDIT: NOT WORKING
Second is 19Mb in size and shown in 340kb/sec 428x240
Third is for those of you on dial-up, 2.7Mb and 48kb/sec 216x120
Are there still people on dialup?

Enjoy!
RIGHT CLICK/SAVE AS

HALF SIZE
DIAL UP

Yeah I know, you have seen a couple of them already, shoot me! As soon as I have the car back, new clips will be made. I watch these almost everyday, just because I miss it so much. IT HAS BEEN A LONG 3 MONTHS.

Yes I was rev-matching as much as possible. Thanks for the props.

The MF10s are the 55 offset, the 45 offset on the JDM setup would cause me to scrub tire without rolling the fender. The tires are 215/45/17

Maybe at very high rates of speed? Not sure, kind of like the lock-out for reverse. The top speed that I reached in the gymkana vids was about 90-95km/h(56-59mph).

Yeah Honda should of baffled the stock oil pan, but they didn't. The K series has very narrow bearings and the slightest loss of oil and they are TOAST. Thanks.

Mando, yes I have seen you all over the net as well.

lessthndan, thank you, though I know I still have alot of improving to do. That will happen with more and more driving!

It was sad hearing what happend to the car bro, I almost had my engine have oil starvation. I caught it in time thou. I was on the track coming around a turn onto the straight away. Vtec engages at 6k rpm and I noticed the car not go into vtec but rather lag and vtec engaged at 7k. This alarmed me so I just coasted around the track to get back to the pits and pulled off. Check the oil only to find there was no oil. Engine had burned it all. I added 3 qts and it barely reached the 1st dot. Since then I have upped the weight of the oil used and added a oil cooler.
Last event I did not burn one drop of oil.

An oil cooler will be the next thing I add. Just have to save funds. The baffled/trap oilpan is just a sort of fix for the problem. It should help dramatically, but the oil temps still get quite high, at least with how I drive.

Oil Cooler? which one and how bad was the install and price of the unit?
That DC5R is bad ***... makes me wish I had an LSD to pull out of the corners like that... I have JIC coilovers and some progress sway bars and the car handles pretty good.. but I can see where if I had an LSD it would make it 10 times better pulling you out of the corners

Oil cooler was pieced together through http://www.aaroadracing.com.
They have a custom set up that works very well. 13 row oil cooler, sandwhich plate, braided lines, and end links for around $300.oo.
Just give them a call or shoot them an email and let them know Armando recommended you. I was thier test car for the oil cooler install.

I had to do this, I was cautious of burning more oil. So next on my list is a electronic accusump oil pump, oil pressure/temp gauge. This should help me do well on the tracks regarding oil burning. After that I may go with a baffled oil pan, maybe the one you run DC5Rk20A. Let me know how it runs.

$300 for the total kit? Damn oil coolers are so much cheaper in the states compared to here. It would cost me about $850+ here. I might be able to swing this earlier now.

Thanks alot Armando. Really appreciate it.

Hey bro if you want pm me and I can give you the number to the shop I got mine from. They do shipping. It weights like 3-5 pounds for everything so shipping will be nothing.

You can downshift into first but I find I have to double clutch to match revs properly when downshifting into first.
