ok well here we go there is no way 4 me to search this so i started a new topic
my set up is cai header exhaust mpfi swap
ok well i hit my gass in 3rd gear i get to 6000 or around there rpms and it feels like the rex just looses all of its power in a cyl or 2 or it feels like my clutch is slipping or something like that. so im doing a mini me as soon as i send the money. i was thinking sence my head gaskets leaking real bad could i be getting like blow by out of it and when i do the mini me it will b gone or do u think its the motor

So after like 6k rpm you lose power, right? Are you sure it happens only in third gear? After my mpfi swap above 5k rpm, my engine makes this awesome sound. I was impressed with it. A cylinder cannot die only on one gear at a certain rpm. If your clutch was slipping at 6000 rpm and above i think you would get real close to blow your engine up because it would slip to... 7...8k?
Blow-by has nothing to do with this so no. Head gasket problem would present itself as constant and not only at 6k.

thanks for ur help. its in 3rd and second i never had it at 6000 when going in 4th and 1st goes to fast to tell it feels like a backfire almost, almost like my valve opens up to soon and the eplotion happens and it makes no power
