Fog light and alarm problem

Fog light and alarm problem
i've just installed my 99-00 si fogs in my car but when i click the button to my alarm the innerlights and outer lights dont flash. They don't work. I have a clifford G-5 I've searched the archives but only found someone with the same problem 2 years ago and it was unanswered.
I can get the fogs to come on when i have my parking lights, regular headlights and highbeams. i'm thinking cuz i switched those 2 wires to do that it messed up the alarm?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
