picked up an 05 type s today.
hey i just wanted to share to you guys cuz im pretty excited. I picked up my 05 rsx-s black on black. Runs very clean and im just stoked. Ill post pics if u guys are interested but prob not cuz youve seen them already. Just wanted to share my new toy.

Yeah I'm in the black on black '05 club as well. But I wish I wasn't, it's almost impossible to keep the car clean down here in Miami with all the humidity. But i still love my RSX.

make sure you watch for rust in the sunroof. I have a 2002 RSX S and have had the sunroof replaced and will have to have the 2nd one replaced because of rust that developes in the sunroof. You'll need to look under the black rubber seal that goes around the sunroof. In front of where the water drains from the glass is where it is worst. I hope Acura is going to do something about this other than keep replacing the sunroof with the same defective part. I have pics if anyone wants to see what I'm talking about. Most people won't see it till it's too late since you have to be looking under the rubber seal and where the water drain down from the glass roof.

nothing major... prob. just emblems, try to find some 05 itr rims, and save money for some mugen ss... no engine mods cuz i have 7 year 100,000 mile warrenty...

I saw some bronze rims on the 05 black/black integra. I guess it was for the Type-s integra but it was clean. Those are the ones im going to try to purchase once i find someone who can get them. Good luck with your facelift.

I love black on black cars. In fact, I miss my black on black GTI. There's a special place in my heart for them. However, I will never own another one. They are incredible looking cars when clean, but when they're dirty? Fuggeddaboudit. There's nothing uglier on the road than a filthy black car.
