Default Problem: My car sounds like **** after rain

it rained real hard and the streets were flooded like knee high.....and i was driving....going threw these puddles....and now my car sounds like **** like water got in the exhaust...how do you fix this

does it run any different or just sound? if its just the sound dont worry about it itll prolly go away

Jack the front up as high as possible or just pull the exhaust off. Whats a few 12/14 mm bolts and a rubber bushing or two for piece of mind? Maybe hydrolock is creeping in on you! lol - Darrell

If it is hydrolock, then maybe take the spark plugs out and crank the engine? Thats what I would do.

If its hydrolocked your car is not gonna sound like anything, it will not even start.

If you got water in your exhaust all you need to do is drive your car and that will take care of it.
