explain to me why that isnt cool? its not like you couldnt read the vin off of any car on the street. im just a poor kid looking to buy a car and would greatly appriciate a carfax to know the history of the car.

 

Vins are like social security numbers to us.

ssn= identity theft
vin= auto theft

Just edit it out of your post and pm it to the person who is doing the carfax.

 

I cant phathom how people can be looking for a car and yet be so cheap as to not pay the $20 for a 30 day carfax account....unreal.

anyway, I ran it and I'm only going to say it has a blemish on the record. you want to find out...pay your $20

Also you could have searched, i see like 20 people in gdd giving free carfax everyday.

 

ok ssn - you can not get this from just looking at a person.

a vin you can walk up to any car and read it off of the dash. i am also almost positive that it is publicly available information from the dmv. look it up.

anyway i would still appriciate it if anyone could run the vin for me. i will pm it to whoever could run it. thanks.

again... like i said im a poor kid that goes to school and i can barely afford the car, so yes 20 bucks is a big deal, esp when i can save the money and have a kind person on honda-tech run it for me

finally i know the car has a theft title but i would like to know more about it.

 

get a part-time job, or help out neighbors or family members for a few bucks an hour. its not hard to earn money. and if theres family issues making it so you can't get a part-time job, then i know family and friends would be willing to help you out with a little 20$
