Default Octane Question

Whatsup guys, will to clue you in here is my setup

b18 block, p30 pistons, stock Ls rods
no boreing or anything, just stock block.

The head consists of crower 403 stg2 cams, skunk2 cam gears.
and the valvetrain is stock, stock ecu, and stock revlimit.

also have a S-afc.

anwayy, my question is..would it be worth my while to run higher octane gas at the track? Not 93, or pump gas, but a little higher, ide keep pump gas on the street of course, but im sayin when im at the track on weekends. And if so, what would a safe octane be.

Thanks for the help.

no pics of car yet, but its 94 4dr civic coilovers w/HX wheels, clear/red tails, 1pc projectors, cf hood/trunk...triying to get ahold of some ferio interior..anyway, thanks

You should get the car tuned on a higher octane so you can advance the base timing on track days. That will give you a little more ooomph on higher octane gas.
