You could always steal it. But would not recommend that route. What arey ou trying to say exactly? Like get the intake manifold, and dizzy, ecu, wiring? Or just the wiring? If so just get it from either a 90-91 Integera (92-93 are obd1) or from a 88-91 Civic SI/EX or 88-91 CRX SI.

You can only do it if you get half the stuff for free and some awesome deals on the rest. My mpfi swap took about $400. You have to account for all the little things like new parts from honda (hoses, bolts, gaskets, etc.). I got my wiring from a 90-91 teg. Much cheaper than an SI harness.

Wow you got over charged. I picked up a full swap for less then $200.

PM6 ECU, SI Distributor (lightly used), Intake Manifold, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Rail, Throttle Body, gaskets, vacuum hoses.

You don't need a new harness. Just add wires to the existing DX harness.

Yeah you don't need the complete one you just need the necessary ones for Fuel Injection. Even so, you can get obd1 injectors in there too and use those clips from that harness. (search for the use of obd1 injectors)

just did the conversion to one of my cars... spent less than $200.

on my friends car, we tried getting the si engine harness and tried to get it to work on a dx main wire harness(the one under the dash). doing the dx engine harness w/adding wires was 10 times easier.

I know the swap can be done cheaper but I spent more on a few things. I bought a PM6 and a PG7 ecu, a brand new JDM distributor, and I needed to get a new tps and eacv. I also replaced a bunch of o-rings and other small parts. That stuff adds up. I just wanted to play it safe and have a reliable car.
