Default Factory Warranty Question

Really, I don't understand what warranty is, do they expect you to leave your car in your garage and wait for it to break on its own? Please check this thread and advise me on what to do. Thanks!

Warranty is for defect failure.
Not road hazard and wear out item.
Your case according to them is road hazard.
You can call up Honda America and make some noise, they may compensate
you for something if they like you!

Good luck!

ic, man but isn't it kind of a defect since the underbody didn't protect my rad. I don't see how a rock could have popped up in that direction to make a hole...

Can you self examine it yourself to see this puncture in your radiator?
Ask the dealer where the hole is.
If it looks like a seam welding joints leaking, then is sort of defect which
you can make an issue against American Honda's customer service.

Ah... thanks. The problem is the car is at an acura dealership that is 1.5 Hours away because there is nothing closer than that. They probably won't tell me where exactly the problem is at since they don't want to cover things under warranty. Ugh, maybe I can go check it out tomorrow, but not sure since I have classes from 7:30-2:00. We'll see. thanks for the help

you need a new rad.......if something punctured it and caused it to leak Accra warranty will not cover it......its not acura's fault something hit it and cause it to leak....

call up your local autoparts store or rad repair shop for a aftermarket replacement rad. its probably 1/4 the price of a new OEM one.
