Name this part

this item bolts to the fuel rail on a 2000 civic SI one end hooks to the intake manifold and bolts to the fuel rail, iam not sure where the other end hooks to. do i need this item if i am converting to obd 1. this motor is going into a crx.

Looks like the evap purge control solenoid. It's an emissions item...

yep thats the evap purge valve. rerouts gas vapors from your gas tank back into the intake manifold. If your going down to a USDM ODB1 ECU, this will hook up, if your using a JDM ECU, forget it.
