p30 pistons on an ls motor

p30 pistons on an ls motor

i have a b18b and the guy that gave me the motor gave me some p30 pistons and said that they would bump my compression to 12:6??? i dont know if thats tru...it sounds kind of high..so if there is someone here that knows about them let me know...tia

numbers are a point off there. I think he meant 11.6:1 use this calc to figure your est. compression ratio with your exact motor setup.

If you want to be over 12:1, just sell the p30's and go with ctr pistons.
