Default May buy a $400 EF

I am looking at picking up a 91 DX hatch but have a few concerns with the car and I am looking for opinions.

Here is whats wrong with the car:

Car has rust water stains
front end is UGLY/beat up
Car has a Black door and and car is white

Here is what is good:

Has an SI tranny
SI cluster
NO rust
Very little dings and dents in doors and rear quarter panels
New clutch
half core radiator rigger up to fit
header
Intake
Exhaust

What I am considering buying if I get it:

JDM front end
$500 local, includes fogs and lip
$100 MPFI conversion
OBD I conversion, I already have a P28.
$800-1000 Paint job
$200 CRX seats

considering all the work is it worth it even though its only $400?

If the frame is straight and true, knock yourself out.

Sounds like you could part it out and make your money back if you had to. Go for it. I got my hatch for half that price in much worse condition, and I'm still not sorry I bought it.

sounds straight to me...

try to knock down the price some more just incase they are willing to let it go even cheaper.... can't hurt to try.

GO for it sound good!

I would offer 300 and have 300 in 20's. It looks like more money and if he says no then pull out one 50 bill and say you can have the last of the money in my wallet and pull out your single 50 bill. Good luck

I guess I lost my focus. I already have a GSR but wanted a project car. I think I will pick it up and not worry too much about looks at this point and work on performance.

I already have a Vtec head with Honda ITB's. I can also pick up a d16 block cheap and build that with p29 pictons and buy crower cam and ****.
