Default shock question

Ok i just bought a set of omni coilovers for my 1988 crx dx and now i need shocks. im looking to get the tokico blues but every time i look on ebay the only ones i see are for 89-91. So is there realy a difference in the years or is it a misprint. the reason im buying from ebay is to save some money...

Yes the difference is in the rear lca. The 88 civic/crx uses a boxstyle lca while the 89+ civic/crx uses a beam style lca.
