lightweight acura lower control arms/ 94 GSR
Competition Engineering makes CrMy Steel ones w/ heim joints, very race only. i believe Function-7 is working on a street set out of aluminum, accepting stock bushings. or maybe it's Z10. but i'm pretty sure it's Function-7. i asked them a few months ago about a due date or price estimate, they said they couldn't give me anything at all on either account.
oh, sorry, i thought he was talking about front lower control arms. i just saw he didn't specify. yeah, there's lots for the rear, check ebay. Function-7 makes a beautiful piece out of 7075T-0. or you can get ebay brand for $100.
fronts are a different matter. stock rears weigh like 7lbs each, aluminums weigh like 2lbs. fronts weigh 25lbs each. Competition Engineering sells CrMy ones that weigh 5lbs each. that's 40lbs of mostly sprung weight off the car, and besides, since it's 40lbs off the nose of a FWD, all the better. i wish i had the ***** to get a set, but i'm afraid i'll have problems not lubing the heim joints enough or maybe the heim joints will make the car act funny on bumpy roads. maybe somebody can clue me in?
