Rear Tie Bar Installation
So this past weekend I went to my buddies to install my rear-tie bar. No problem I thought. Air ratchet + Air hammer + WD-40 = Bolts will come right out. Holy **** NO.. We managed to get one out with a lot of work and the other is stuck on so ******* tight. It's rusted from the inside out. Anyone else have major problems with those bolts and know a good way to get it out *EASILY* without killing the nut. huhuhu he said nut...
wow mine came out with just muscle but then again, my car has no rust. if if wont come off with an air gun it prob wont come off at all unless u get another compressor with higher psi
*Gag* I'll keep on keep on with the WD-40 for the next week and then try again. The bolt moves a quarter turn in each direction but then it just quits do to the in-grown rust. Got to love Wisconsin. Thank god I'm now in vegas
just put a torch to them nuts! but seriously i had the same problem when i was putting some camber shims on my ride. just heat them up with a torch and you should be able to get them loose...
good luck!
