Default AEM/Nissin pads for autoX?

I have an almost (b16a purchased, intalling with tax return) hybrid 91 Si hatch that I have autocrossed for 2 seasons in a local Detroit association. I am running in their version of street mod, and need to change my rotors and pads again this spring. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with AEM pads for autocrossing. The price is right, and they will be an improvement over the cheap pads I have now, but my problem is I will be running at least one autocross on a real track (Waterford Hills) where the brakes went away bad last year by the third run/lap. Probably at least one open track day at Gingerman also this year. Will they be worth it for street and autocross? Will they handle a track day? Should I get a better set of pads for track days? BTW still running drums in back , at least until a while after the motor goes in. Sorry so long, and any advice will be appreciated...

Street pads for street, track pads for track. There's no pad that does it all perfectly.

Thanks, for the reply. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these pads. I really already know that they wouldn't be great for a real track event, but was wondering if they are any good at all. Money is a factor for me, and would like to know if I should just go really cheap for street pads and spend the money on separate pads for the track, or if the AEM will be good street autocross pads. They are cheep enough that I might be able to afford other pads for true track days a little later, but don't want to waste money on them if they are truely crap. Thanx again, and sorry I wasn't clearer.

The few people I've talked to that have run them said they were a little better than stock pads, but not much. Hawk HP+ are a pretty good street/autox pad, though they are a bit abrasive on the rotors, dust and squeal quite a bit. They do stop very well, however. I'd get something like Carbotech Panther Plus or Hawk Blues as a dedicated track pad, the HP+ won't cut it there.

Thanks! I will look into your suggestions. Would Pegasus carry any of those pads? Racer Wholesale? Who else might have them? Still lacking in data about buying 'real' racing parts

The best compound we have seen for DEDICATED Auto-x (no street use at all, or minimal street use) is our 913 Green KM. For street/auto-x combination driving, then the Axxis Ultimate (NOT the Metal Master) pad, which is very cost effective. For street/track - the Panther Plus. For full-track ONLY, the Panther XP.
