I'm gonna purchse some tyc headlights pretty soon. If it's possible I would like to paint the black housing to match my car. Just wondering how hard these are to take apart? Then if the heat from the lights it to much for the paint.

HAHA thanks. Never seen anyone do this. Guess I just didn't notice.

Seems no one paints them to match there car thought. My car is WRX silver so I shouldn't look to tacky. Almost a chrome color anyways. Should have it done in a few weeks.

 

should be interesting...but do everything you would do with honda healights and such.

Take the easier solution...buy a '05 corvette.

 

unbolt headlights, take bulbs out, bake em, open it, paint, re-seal, bake, let it dry, put bulbs back, bolt em in, turn lights on, drive car, enjoy....
