Default Sad State of Affairs (Police and Bikes)

This was in the news earlier ... quite possibly the worst thing I've read in a loooooong time.

I heard about this, and I think I heard about it here on honda tech. I heard there was a petition to get this cop fired going around the interweb. Its just so fucked up. Besides the whole ******* cop thing, the rider should of had his gear on.

True on the gear.

However, I just can't think of any reasonable logic in this whatsoever. I mean, if you're a wildlife officer who happens to think deer hunters are troublemakers, would you say "Yep...too bad" to a guy calling that his son was suffering from an accidental gunshot wound?

******' terrible. Hope the cop in question here gets his. That's more bad karma than I can conceive of.

Nothing new there, and the sad thing about it is it's going to continue FOREVER.
There are some in law enforcement who will always feel that they can do or say whatever they want and not suffer the consequences.
What irks me is that some of their co-workers know what they say and do criminal acts and don't report them, but I understand why they don't, they fear for losing their career even though they know people have and are going to die whether by accident or by cold blooded murder on the part of law enforcement personnel.
Just remember their CAREER is MORE IMPORTANT than our LIVES or LIVELYHOOD
in their mind that'll NEVER change.
Don't forget that the judges and politicians are in bed with them also.
My condolences to the friends and family who have to go through this time and time again.

I hate guys who hide behind their badge. They think they're invincible just because they have that shiny ornament pinned on their uniform (this goes for some off duty ones too). These asswipes give good cops a bad name.

good cops
bad cops

RIP to the rider who died.
