Default Type-R front lip concern...

I just installed the Type-R front lip on my 95 gs-r...it looks great. Anyways, the front bumper I have on now is the OEM 98-01 model. The bumper has some minor damage to it, and I was thinking about changing it before getting my car painted this summer. I found a 94-97 OEM front bumper right in my price range, and was wondering if with some slight modifying my front lip would fit on it? If not, does anyone know a place where I can get a 98-01 front bumper at a good price? Any help is appreciated.

You should be able to dig up a 98-01 front bumper for a relatively low price on the forum or locally. I think i remember someone posting a pic of the 98+ lip on a 94-97 bumper. It looked alright.

Here's a pic i found on here, NOT MY CAR.
98-01 ITR lip, on a 94-97 bumper. i think the guy said it took alot of mods to make it fit. id say find a better condition 98+ bumper instead of goin back to 94-97

Thanks for all the help guys! I'll just suck it up, throw down the extra money and get a 98-01 bumper, haha.
