Default Help / How can you tell its a type R or Not?????????

I have a stock 99 JDM b18c (it just shows on the block) and with red cover and LSD trans , looks like type r MF. Is anyone know How can I tell its a JDM type R or a Jdm sir-g or something else. Because I did my compression test it only shows 215 for all four and I though Jdm Itr should be higher then that So can someone tell me whats going on with my motor PLZ...................

It doesn't mean anything. Your tested could be miscalibrated or something else to that extent. Look for a stamp in the head that says "PR3". Also look up some pictures and take a good look at the intake manifold differences.

"if it's not a tight car then it's not a Type-R", easiest way to tell IMO
