What specific changes does the 2002 S2000 have over the 2001
Are these changes significant enough to warrant buying a new 2002 over a 2001 with 1,500 miles! Interested especially in the "new" transmission". I am looking at a Silver/black 2001 in mint condition for about 28K. Please ... some feed back. Thanks

Check out http://www.s2000.org - maybe there's some info there.
Edmunds had this to say about the 2002:
A few changes to the Honda S2000 should make this hard-edged roadster a bit easier to live with. For 2002, Honda has added a glass rear window with a defroster, an improved transmission and a more powerful audio system. There are also a handful of minor changes that only '00-'01 S2000 owners would notice, such as chrome-bezel taillights, an upgraded center console, door panel net storage pockets, a new shifter ****, an aluminum-accented foot rest and silver trim interior accents. There's also a new color for 2002: Suzuka Blue.
