Do you want to work with the a6 engine or do you want to swap an engine. For 600 you get yourself a z6. Then transfer your ihe from the a6. Youll be happy.

Mini me is a nice upgrade. If you like taking things apart and putting them back together, I would buy a Helm's manual and search search SEARCH.

You do it the correct way. Buy a P28 (5 speed, Civic EX/SI) ECU and a OBD0-OBD1 Conversion Harness (http://www.jkobd.com).

The D16Y8 head will push the compression way up and the chambers are much smaller. Yeah the D16A6 dizzy won't fit the D16Z6 head w/o slight modifications to the arms. But hey, just skip the frustration and use a D16Z6 Distirbutor.
The D16Z6 manifold is good as well. You'll have a bit more power with those modifications. I suggest you look at this thread
