the hatch is lighter, so the spring rate will be different than the car u want to put it on. Spend a little extra and get some parts that are actually meant for the car, or spend more in the long run to fix broken things that your haste to save money in the begining has created.

i don't think there is much difference between the spring rates of stock springs for a coupe and hatch, not that much of a weight difference, also its not going to be a difference u can feel, like putting coupe springs on a hatch isnt gonna do ****

i use 96-98 civic H&R springs, so they should be interchangeable.

stock rates are different
Im 99% sure that aftermarkets will be the same for 92-00 (perhaps even 88-00), minus em1 si (which would be slightly stiffer)

Did I read that right? Your asking about the spring rate on stock springs, what a worthless thread. Yes they are diff spring rate. but they are stock.
Go buy some springs

He never specified whether they were stock or not, people just assumed.
What difference does it make if he IS asking about stock compatibility? Youre obviously the only one who has a problem with them being stock. Perhaps you would like to buy the man a set of springs??
