bought car with chipped ecu but dont know which it is or what chipped for. what is the best ecu for my setup? i have a jdm b18c with fully built head (ctr cams), skunk2 intake manifold, jdm 4-1 headers, stock intake, stock gsr exhaust with gut cat, msd ignition, bm fuel regulator. thanks for the help.

 

i would think a gsr ecu , which i believe is a P72

 

thats what i thought but the guy that sold me the car told me the gsr im and skunk2 im have different setups and need diff ecu's

 

well actually hes sort of right the skunk2 im has single runners and the p72 uses dual runners, its not gonna change anything tho, my buddy has a gsr in a hatch and he runs the p72 with skunk2 im and it runs fine, so hes technically correct with the intake manifold part but not needing the diff. ecu part

he has hondata in it and type r internals so it goes pretty good but no track time yet
