Default clutch safety wiring

Hey guys,

I'm doing a AT to MT swap on my 99 LS teg coupe. How hard is it to wire your clutch safety (Press on clutch or car won't start)? The shop I'm taking my teg to is asking an additional $120 for doing it? Is it something maybe I can do?

Cheers,

question to me is more whether or not you really need it...

Personally I wouldn't... especially not if it's gonna cost me $120... just remember to push the clutch down and/or dont leave your car in gear when you park...

Sorry if I ruined your post, you were obviously asking for technical information, but I threw in my $.02 anyway... I apologize.

Yeah, I understand. When I went to Lebanon once and drove a stick there, there was no such thing!

I appreciate your thoughts though

But again, any technical info on this? Anyone?
