just wondering how to identify a transmission. i have a ls swap in my ef and the gears seem really short, so im thinking maybe its not a ls tranny. just wondering if there are markings i can check to see. its a cable tranny also, so im thinking if its not the ls then its a b16 or b17, anyone got some codes?

yes you have an LS tranny. LS cable tranny = 3495rpm at 70mph w/ stock tires, and stock tach reads a little high, like 200rpm, a bit more at high revs
