Default EVER BOUGHT A BAD....................................?

OK went to AUTO ZONE to get rebuilt integra rear calipers and put the conversion on...
was able to take it for a ride and seem like the pass side caliper is not working (took hard turn in sand to see if inside tire would lock up ) the only side that would was the driverside one the i pulled the e-brake to do that TEST and then again just the driverside tire would lock up and not the pass side BUT when i jack it up and try to spin w/ e-brake up and hitting the breaks i cant move the wheel at all there is definatly NO AIR IN THE LINES (blead them profously!) could i have gotten a bad caliper or

thanks for you info please help fast

Sorry if this has already been answered but do you have the correct proportioning valve on?

the prop valve should have nothing to do wit it the prop valve just adds more pressure to both rear wheels the stock one should still put the same amount to both the BOTH should still lock up on the stock prop valve

i've heard horror stories of rebuilt parts from stores like that, especially checker, but i'm sure autozone is bad too.

hows the adjuster on the e brake. check the adjustment on the caliper or the e brake cable itself.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 88cerx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the prop valve should have nothing to do wit it the prop valve just adds more pressure to both rear wheels the stock one should still put the same amount to both the BOTH should still lock up on the stock prop valve </TD></TR></TABLE>

actually, the proportioning valve is cross sectional, not front and back...

Autozone isn't that bad. If you think the caliper went bad, return it for a brand new one from autozone. They will replace it.

Are you using the correct proportioning valve?

As far as autozone being bad they really aren't. I have had good success with their rebuilt parts. In fact I just replaced my master cylinder with one of their rebuilt ones a couple of weeks ago. If you think it is bad exchange it for another unit.
