hey, i was wondering if any of yall have purchased an alarm from ebay. Most of the brands on there are generic no name brands. Are they any good? For example, here is an alarm i found that has many add ons.

i bought my ebay alarm from this guy in WA. very helpful during the install and has car specific diagram. i've got alarm/remote entry/start and i installed everything myself.

very nice product and quite happy with the performance and the range(about 800feet or so). the chirp sound was pretty cool too. the led alarm was blue which i like a lot.

i returned the unit 2 times already(coz my fault, i fried the main unit coz of incorrect wiring) and he replaced it for free didn't pay anything even return postage.

Ill never trust ebay, but like fcm said you always get what you pay for.

 

NEVER buy a no name alarm... and even if you do, most shops will not install it for you, because they are pieces of ****.
