Rear Axle Wheel Bearing Swap for 98 honda civic DX (can)
I have recently found that my rear left wheel bearing has ben making some ugly noises, and have decided to replace it. I went to a local auto parts place and picked up a bearing piece that fits all non anti lock break Honda makes, unfortunately my civic is equipped with abs. I know that if my car is abs then im going to have to go to my local Honda dealer and pay allot more then what i payed for this part (as if $130 wasn't enough to pay) which i don't really want to do if i don't have to. So I guess my question is, what is the difference in a abs, and a non abs bearing? the bearing piece seems pretty basic to me. and if any bodys actualy done this before can you give me a 1-10 on how hard it is to change. thanks.
