Default milage on cluster

Hey guys,

I'm doing my AT to MT conver. really soon Can't wait!

I was thinking of getting a 5spd cluster to replace it with the one I have now to get rid of the "P" light on all the time.

My teg is a 99 LS coupe. Which years of clusters will work on my teg? Also, if I buy a used one with a log of mileage, can I roll the milage back to match my current milage?

Cheers,

My cluster actually has about 100,000 more miles than my car does, and I was wondering about the odometer as well. Can they be changed from any year/model hondas? Or does it have to be your specific generation/model? I keep hearing different things, so clarification will be helpful!

Any cluster from 98-01 will plug and play. Since the gear indicator is on the tach, you can just swap over your speedo assembly from your cluster to the new one to retain mileage.

Thnx BlueIntegraBoy for the info. I just figuered something way cheaper!

Since my D4 light is out, I just replaced it with the P light and now my P light is not showing any more

I thought you didn't want to see the actual P R D 2 1 icons. If you didn't want it lit, just unplug the 10-pin plug from your cluster.

I don't think searching was succesful But from what I read you can swap the old speedo from your cluster (Original milage on it) to the new cluster. It didn't say how, but I'd imagine it would be to unscrew the old one and screw it in the new one

Thank you everybody for your input
