Default 98 - 2002 owners info needed

I just sold my EK hatch with over 300 horses. I am looking at buying an accord because I have been doing the hatch thing for my last 3 cars. Please let me know what engines are available in the coupe and what you guys think about them. Thanks

Well if you had an EK with 300 hp. I don't think any accords will be that impressive. The fastest is the 7th gen V6 6-spd

theres basicly 2 motors available in the coupe.

j30a1 v6 vtec auto tranny only. you will most likely have problems with the tranny. I'm not getting into it cause it's been discussed to death

f23a1 and f23a4 vtec. for the most part, they are the same motor a4 is ULEV and gives up 2 hp. auto tranny is sketchy as well. just get a 5 speed and forget about it.

there is also the f23a5 non-vtec. only available in DX and VP sedans. gives up 35 hp.

An H series can be swapped in with a little more work than the 4th and 5th generations into the 4 cyl, but honestly, if youre looking for a fast accord, look for a 7th gen manual transmission and FI it
