Default Best way to stop faster

I have a 95 GSR sedan and I want to be able to stop more quickly. I'm thinking about new pads and SS brake lines. Will that help at all? Or should I go with a new big-brake 4 piston caliper kit from Wilwood? Thanks.

If stopping on the street is a problem, slow your *** down.
If stopping on the track is a problem, then I'd start with the pads and S.S. lines

Hawk Hp+ pads, good fluid ,braided lines and a good bleeding should make you happy. The willwoods are overkill...unless you race, do you race?

I'd start with better pads and tires.

If you can now lock 'em up, then it will ultimately come down to your tires.

I imagine weight reduction and lowering the car would make some difference as well.

Also, look into changing the brake bias. My old car felt like the rear tires were doing much less than they could have been.

4 bangers do not offer significant exhaust braking. We downshift to get back into the powerband, not to slow down.
