Koni RSK
I'm looking for feedback on this kit. The tirerack.com has it for $455. Seems like a good deal, just want to know how the ride quality is and how much it really lowered. A picture of a car with them on would be great, i was unable to find much info on them in a search.
Bump for info as well. Seem like a good deal and since it's from a name brand manufacturer (Koni), seem safe to buy. CRX Lee, plz chime in and give us some advice. How does it compare to Koni yellows and equivalent springs?
The kit has several different heights that you can set the car at depending on how much you want to drop it. Here is the info for the EG Civic :http://www.koni-na.com/pdf/1250-5003.pdf
I would say the kit is similar in valving to the Sport shocks but a bit different as we made them a specific match with the supplied springs. As Koni red dampers (actually they are stamped as RSK as they are specific only to these kits).
The RSK kits were a trial program to see if we could make a special red shock that did not have all the bells and whistles of the Sport (primarily not externally damping adjustable) but have a special valving and more height options and then sell them at the lower end of the price range for guys who might not otherwise be able to get such good dampers and springs. We have discontinued the RSK kit program because it cost us more to make the special dampers than made sense with selling the kits at a lower price point. At this point, we are selling the RSK kits at a low price until the stock is depleted which is not limited to EG and EK Civics. After the RSK was developed, the Koni 1130 Sport kit was introduced by Koni in Europe so the RSK program was replaced before it ever really got going.
If you are looking for a good kit at a very low price for a good lowering spring, with several height options, and a good adjustable damper but don't feel that you need an externally adjustable damper, then the RSK kit is a really good deal while supplies last.

Thanks CRX Lee for the info. Looks like the Koni 1130 Sport kit is the solution for me. Google search only got one dealer within the US selling these. Price is not bad but will these be more mainstream in the US soon to bring the price down with competition?
