Default a good idea??? anyone ever done it? (accord black housing headlights ONE PEICE)

i know there are no such thing as 1 peice black housing headlights for our 5th gens. but this what i was thinking. i buy those cheapo 1 peice halo headlights from somewhere and take off my exsisting stanley headlights. take off the casing on the halo 1 peice ones and put in the stanley ones. so in essence they sorta become a 1 peice headlight? anyone done this, would it work? thanks

The OBX versions are the 2 piece versions.

The real stanley ones in essence are also 2 piece, but a frame piece on the back of the housing holds both the corner lamp and headlight together giving off the idea that its one piece. You know whats a true one piece, the old japanese integra type R headlight housing.

the REAL JDM STANLEY ones are 1 peice, the one true 1 peice headlights that are out there for our 5th gens are the halo ricer ones. they made 1 peice ones for the 6th gens tho. so wut do u guys think.

Honda CF4 chasis (which is technically a 6th gen accord in JDM land) are one piece headlights. they fit our 5th gen accords with minor modification.

The JDM 5th gen headlights are like sumone described 2 piece but the corner light attaches to the frame to make it look like 1 piece in essence.

And no i highly doubt u'll be able to fit the oem headlights into the halo 1 piece projectors, not to mention it sounds like more work/headache than its worth. Just buy the cf4 headlights they go for about 250-300 bucks on ebay.

well speaking from experience, you need to take off the front bumper, i can assure you of that...there is a piece that attaches to the stock headlights that had to stay out of the car with the new headlight assembly. I installed mine maybe 5 years ago, so its been some time but be prepared to put a day aside to do these right, even though it might not take that long.

havent u guys noticed everything is a lot harder on accords than any other cars....explames

to remove eg headlights u just unscrew like 5 screws thats it, for our accord u gotta remove the bumper and shyt

to remove dc/db integra fenders take off a couple screws and it pops off....for accords, you gotta remove the rocker panels (sideskirts) to remove the fenders

god dammit! haha

bumper removal takes 30 seconds if u don't do it like an idiot and try to remove the bumper off the bumper support.

Take off the lower bumper lights, look down and u'll see 2 bolts i think 14mm, holding the bumper support bracket, remove those two bolts on both sides and voila your bumper is off the car. (5th gen btw)
