Default CTR VS ITR PISTON in a GSR

Which piston will pull more HP?

I own a 98 GSR.

My Goal is to beat a S2000 sTock

Plans:
skunk 2 valve springs/retainers
skunk 2 big cams
CTR or ITR PISTONs
Type R trannie or JdM GSR trannie. (any that has LSD built in)

What Else do anyone can suggest.

Thanks for the info.

race gas will be needed with ctr pistons especially if you run a gsr head....try some p30 pistons instead

get the type r tranny over the jdm gsr tranny.
gearing is way better.
i know personally

just get jdm itr pistons. you'll be at roughly 11.5:1.
you're in cali, any compression that's higher on a daily driver is vulnerable to ping.

even the 99-00 transmission will have better gearing than the GSR. i believe the transmission code for it is the S80. but i dont remember.
