I would take a turbo GSR. First of all, its going to be faster, and stock for stock, the ITR is going to handle better, with some modifications, that can be changed. Also, insurance would be less for the GSR.

The integra type r is not gonna be much slower and they are so rare.

the gsr will probably be quite a bit faster...
Im not sure about which Id get.. for sure the gsr was beat on, and the type r probably was a bit too.. Look into both and try to get a feel for what the owners were like, if theyre at dealerships, look at the carfax, check that out... If you want cheaper insurnace or a faster car, get the gs-r, but if you want elegance and just somethin greally nice, then go with the type r.

Turbo is an amazing thing, after you have one you realize why. At the same time, if you dont know enough about it, you willl either destroy the car, or get very close to doing so.

If youve never had a turbo'd car, then I dont suggest getting a car that has had one put on it, especially if you dont know the person well.

The ITR is a great all around car...

the R would be pretty nice to flaunt...it's sure a head turner. But as many others who love boost...i would certainly go with the C1 w/boost. sure it's been beat on...and it probably won't last as long as the R, but i know what i'm doing when it comes to FI and i would just rebuild the motor for more power. *drool* uummmmmm....more power..*drool*

Dude, what are you talking about A GSR running 7-8 psi will have 220ish whp, a ITR has 170ish whp. Now, depending on the driver, that should be a full 1 second difference in 1/4 mile times, as the boosted GSR should be in the mid/high 13s, while the ITR will only be in high 14s. IMO, thats a pretty big gap, but to each his own

Uuuuum, mid 13s w/ 220whp? Ha. Maybe if it's stripped with great tires and great suspension setup, and tuned well.

i would pick the type-r, yeah sure the insurance is more expensive but with all the theft there pretty rare. maybe i'm just biased because i like the sound of n/a car.

It all depends on how the gsr was driven and the set-up. Say the gsr has a junkyard set-up with a shitty little t25 that's all busted then I would most definatly get the ITR but if the gsr had a good set-up that was taken care of then boosted gsr > NA legend of a street car

Sorry if i didn't make it clear, I meant it to be more likely towards high 13s, but mid 13s are possible with a correct setup and driver. If you don't believe me, just search around for some turbo GSR quarter mile times. Here, I even got one for you.

Just look at his exhaust, and what tires he was running. Not a great suspension, or tire setup to say the least.

ITR all the way. I think it would be more fun to drive (on the street at least), and itd have a much better resale value if for some reason you decided to get rid of it!
